The zoning plan allows for 11 land based dwellings within an east-west oriented volume of 63.8m by 15m. We evenly divide this volume in to 11 parcels of 5.8m width, thereby creating a standardized plinth with identical staircases. The plinth is topped with a range of modularized volumes that guarantee a diverse scope of 2- to 5- bedroom houses. The uniform materialization of the facades creates a sculptural ensemble, being accentuated by the outer rooms, that characterize each dwelling individually.
