The existing zoning plan defines 3 freestanding houses and 6 semi-detached houses (STEP 1). We suggest turning 3 of these houses 90 degrees, thereby allowing an east-west orientation and optimal daylight entering the living spaces (STEP 2). All houses are complemented by a carport (STEP 3). The plinth is materialized uniformly with these carports. The volumes on top stand out as autonomous units (STEP 4).
