The existing building, a former electronic shop, consists of an amalgamation of small scale sheds and rear buildings. It has to be converted to a large office space. The existing surface floor is subdivided by 2 circulation cores to access the apartments above. Both cores are reconfigured to allow an optimization on the ground floor. The entrance is accentuated by a fold in the facade. All logistics, such as kitchen and repro room are situated along the perimeter of the plinth, together with the meeting rooms. Part of the southern facade is cut back, allowing daylight to penetrate deep into the heart of the office floor.
